Israel is doing this because murdering Palestinians is all they know.

Using the IDF sniper teams to kill Palestinian children is what they do best.

Now to your question, leveling the buildings removes their homes. This is genocide in slow motion.

Watchingfromafar, ,HAMAS Launched rockets and then mounted their attack upon Israel from Gazza. When IDF drove HAMAS back into Gaza, they, (HAMAS armed belligerents) go underground and use Gaza's civilians to shield themselves.

To the extents that HAMAS and candidates not opposed to HAMAS are elected by Gaza voters, Gaza's government is unwilling or unable to rid themselves of HAMAS or prevent HAMAS from establishing military bases and mounting attacks against Israel from those bases.

Thus, it's to a great extent Gaza's government, their voters, and the remainder of Gaza's population have put themselves in front, or unable to rid themselves of the HAMAS belligerents that secrete themselves behind and under those Gaza civilians and infrastructures.

Israel has in the past, and I believe they would in the future accept a two-nation peaceful resolution. HAMAS and to some extent Gaza's population chant “From [the Jordon] river to the [Mediterranean] sea, [eliminate Israel]”. Israel has no reasonable option other than to fight back; IDF must answer attacks with counterattacks. respectfully, Supposn

Mass media fails to better serve the public if they do not clearly make it known if what they're publishing or broadcasting are facts or opinions. Facts or opinions should be attributable to credible and/or authoritative sources; it's preferable that those attributions also be generally available and subject to confirmation of many or most of the readers and listeners populations.

Mass media are disserving the public when they pretend or imply their publishing or broadcasting of “alternative facts” are other than gossip and lies; they are not true unless they're labeled as attributable opinions.
