time flies, this was in the summer of 2010, some asshole(s) actually dropped off two different litters in two boxes at the edge of my property.
the one white female I kept was the smart one to the point she was down in an irrigation ditch thinking there might be food.
when I found them she was wet and muddy but alive
she was put to sleep 6 month ago just past 14 years from kidney failure, her sister I kept is still doing great and will be 15 here in 5 months

all female except for one black mal cat with haunting yellow eyes, the ladies did too. I should have kept him, he was a nice boy and I bet he would have been a great match for my other rescue, a true barn cat to chase and play with

they all went pretty fast to good home and I hope and have had a nice long life

for some reason my house was just a magnet for cats

Off the top of my head I count 10 cats in total, 11 if I factor in my neighbors white and orange long hair roxie liked my place better than his :)
bit too often she would leave me a gift of a mouse head on my front porch!

I'll add these are the two I kept, tilly who died 6 month ago on the left was smart and a ball player, in fact I learned how to throw left handed because she always found me at dinner so when I was eating I'd need to pick up the ball with my left when she dropped it and throw it, for some reason she only like yellow
her back legs did not develop at this point so she did not walk on her toes, I called her hopper
teeka on the right was the runt, she needed bottle fed for awhile with cat milk she was underweight, she is still small today

I kept both because I thought tilly had a defect and nobody would want her, and teeka was a runt and might not be healthy

well teeka outlived her sister.....strange how things work out

as they got older their colors came in, caramel and back bands on their arms and other markings

We have a black that has the same eyes. Replaced the black who died at 14 or fifteen. Best cat we had. Never cross with anyone and he would sit and talk as long as ya liked

spooky! like this?

tilly wanted to play ball already and wow did she ever, fetch and bring it back to me
her sister, exact opposite, she was a lap cat, tilly was more like a tomboy

Our neighbor has a cat that would like to live with us 24/7, but I don't want to be guilty of catnapping. What should I do?

We have 7 inside with another dozen outside that people abandoned when they moved. 1 black 1 gray tiger, 2 brown longhair tigers, big and small. 2 whites. sisters with gray skullcaps and a Gray and white Puffy cat she just brought in.

your house appears to be like mine 5 years ago in another place that was just a cat magnet for whatever reason, apparently it looked ideal for assholes to just dump their kittens they don't want onto somebody else

I had that happen but their cat was just an outdoor cat but I would feed it, give it some attention plus water. right before I moved she died of old age, I was friends with them and informed them, I am at a loss though if they took her or I just buried her on my property, nice lady roxie, long hair orange and white
