Welcome aboard.

President Trump is looking to bring Canada into the American fold.

Maybe USAID can give money for the campaign?

"Fed up Albertans, who held a separation rally last week at the Edmonton legislature attended by close to 500, are also urging their countrymen to write to the White House to express support to join the union."

That's from the NY Post story. Edmonton has one million people. What they're talking about is 500 Sheep who wasted their time protesting.

"Do you agree that the province shall become a sovereign country and cease to be a province of Canada?"

That is the question they're proposing for the referendum. You have to quite believing the opinions of no minds who don't even bother to do any research. Obviously they have no plans on joining the USA

Of course they will get independence first, before joining America.

Just like Texas got its independence from Mexico first.

Will they vote left or right?

If left...stay in Canuckland!

Who's gonna pay for the Border Wall around Alberta?

Will it be Mexico?

You're overlooking the fact that when Texas became it's own country, lawyers weren't involved. If it were to happen it will turn into legal shit show.
It's not about Texas and it's not about the exact wording of the question, either.

Maybe Albertans want to become part of the US, maybe they don't, it doesn't matter. What they really want is to not be a part of Canada anymore. That's the most important thing. And assuming they ever achieve independence like that, then they can talk about whether to join the US in leisure.

Btw, I think you are probably a good person but honestly I can't stand the way you talk. Not that you'd care or anything. But seriously.
