AMCs The Terror on Netflix

AMC had it on in 2019 but I quit it about halfway through due to all the commercials. Netflix has it now without the commercials now....It's excellent!

Then again I'm a sucker for Artic shows.

It is very well done. I watched it for the cultural material and the presentation of humans in extreme conditions.

But it is all speculation. The Terror was lost (found recently, BTW) with no survivors.

I am also a sucker for Arctic "adventures." Regardless of this particular tale, the toughness of British sailors on Arctic and Antarctic expeditions of the 1800's was truly remarkable.

it was excellent ..but I have one question...where did they get all the wood?

small fires big fires..etc but I did enjoy the breaking of the ice

the terror creature was a bit much..could have toned him down and made him a bit more suspect?

I missed the first season, watched the second season, and I hear they're doing a third season...
