Stumbled across this "Annie" .22 hunting rifle this morning....I gave $400.00 for it.

Either late 50s or early 60s manufacture....Perfectly balanced but with the low comb it's better suited for it's 3-leaf irons. It has a 60s vintage Bushnell 3 X 8 Scopechief .22 scope on it.

One nice little touch is the rounded plastic mag base cover so it does not poke at you while slung.

In 1960 they cost $58.00.....That's $540.00 in today's dollars.....It's worth about $700.00 to $800.00 now.

The bottom one.

Nice video on .22s True information when it says .22s have been used to kill big games. I grew up in Florida and all the Florida crackers I knew including my dad hunted mostly with .22s. They changed the rules on what you can hunt with but back then I saw whitetail deer and wild hogs taken with .22s

Well that's about the prettiest .22 I've ever seen.

I agree, the iron sights are perfect for that gun. I'd have to lose the scope. It just doesn't belong.
