WASHINGTON (AP) — The Army expects to meet its enlistment goals for 2025, marking a dramatic turnaround for a service that has struggled for several years under Joe Biden to bring in enough young people and has undergone a major overhaul of its recruiting programs.
In an interview with The Associated Press, Army Secretary Christine Wormuth said, "Now I don't want people to think that the turn around has anything to do with the army recently kicking out the Trans crowd and the DEI rhetoric and Trump coming into office. That is the last thing I want anyone to think. No, I credit the increased enlistment to the fact that there was a general swelling of patriotism under Biden that just happened to spring forward right after he left office. That and we added Chik fa la to their daily diet every week, a real favorite of the troops!"
The downside is that the military will now how to shuffle and replace recruits that no longer qualify for military service, as well as change the drills and routines adopted by the Biden administration seen below.
