I have family and friends living in LA. Some I haven't heard from since the fires hit. Others I know are safe for now. One is living in an area where they can see the helicopters dropping water, but they're safe for now. They also have a full house because many of their friends, their families, and their pets have now lost everything and are staying with friends.

But there is one older couple in particular who I was in touch with regularly until the fires hit, and I haven't heard from them since. They're in Long Beach, which is a low risk area for now, but there are pockets with smaller fire.

If you follow the REAL news, and not the bullshit being spewed by right wing media, you'll know what is really happening. Anything owned by a billionaire is now a questionable source.
