Baseball. MLB season starts in one month.

Here are a couple of excerpts from MLB.

  • The A's open the season with four games in Seattle. They will then play their first ever game in Sacramento on Monday, March 31. That is the first of three games against the Cubs.
  • The opening Tokyo Series between the Dodgers and Cubs is the only international series on the schedule. MLB hoped to play games in Paris in 2025, but those plans fell through.

I'll go to see a game or two at Sutter Health Park this summer. It's a six hour drive, but my daughter lives in Davis so I'll be visiting there anyway.
At first I was thinking it would be a cheap ticket because it's a modified farm league park. But now I'm hearing it might be the opposite, since the seating capacity is only 14,000 combined with the honeymoon effect of the Sacramento fan base (plus it's only a 1.5 hour drive from the Bay Area)

As a lifelong Red Sox fan I’m buckling in for another season of disappointment. I’ll avoid Fenway again for Polar Park in Worcester to watch the AAA affiliate a couple times but that’s about all I’ll be investing in this season.

you dont think they have improved themselves?....if everyone stays healthy and plays like they are capable of they might be pretty tough...

MLB needs a level playing field like the NFL. Nobody wants to see the Dodgers and Yankees at the top every season.

Love baseball.

A's in Sacramento hurts the head, but only two seasons from Las Vegas. That I will do.

Dodges and either the Blue Jays or Astros in the WS.

Ohtani continues his pursuit of Ruth as the greatest two way player of all time.

Buy me some Crackr Jack.

Braves , Rays here. Astros, Rays, spring training games are in driving distance for me. Still hoping my hometown of Orlando would geta MLB team or AAA or AA, A , don't count out these leagues for good base ball and fun family time.

Without a salary cap (and a minimum payroll), baseball will continue to be a mildly entertaining joke.

SLC and Provo and Ogden have professional minor league teams that do well.

Go watch female college softball.

Harry Dresden: then go watch a pickle ball match....

I like the sound of the pickle ball hitting the paddle. I am going to play some day.

Ohtani's car bears the brunt of Roberts' revenge prank

On Friday night, the Dodgers shared a video of Ohtani walking to the parking lot, only to find that his car had been packed with hundreds of multicolored ball-pit balls, which began pouring out onto the pavement as Ohtani opened his door.
