Think about it. The A's were originally the Philadelphia Athletics, moved to KC and became the A's. They kept moving and went to Oakland, but it was too much of a shithole and want to move to Las Vegas but are spending 3 years in Sacramento since they don't have anywhere to play in Vegas.

In view of all this, wouldn't the Las Vegas Aces be a better name for this wondering Gypsy team?

As have been the As for over a hundred years

Leve the name

There should be a team in Las Vegas. They have the population. They have the fan support. It only makes sense that a team in a shithole city should move there.

As far as nicknames. There are some really good ones in the minors, but a lot of bad ones. One of the worst I saw is Sand Gnats. Sand Gnats. About as low on the food chain as you can get.

How about the Beetle Dung Eaters? That actually would be a good name for the Rockies this year.

Didn’t help Redskins or Cleve Indians. Just don’t. Don’t start with it.

Teams move, players move, zero loyalty, no integrity, $50million pitchers seldom pay off, Pulos, Freeman leave, Soto reported not hustling? Even in plays he should. Boring, slow. Like NBA, regular season has becime unwatchable.

I'm a Phillies fan and I'm having a great time! :)

Again, 162 game regular season. Yawning more.

Wake me up last 7 games when WC races begin. I used to be an MLB lifer. Strike 94’ soured me first. Off/on since.

I remember WC AZ knocked off PHI recently? LA finally spent enough to squeak out a title. Not impressed.

No, two years ago in the NLC series. Got knocked off by the NY Mets last year.

Harry Dresden is right.

The Reno Aces are the Diamondbacks' Triple-A minor league team.

If the A's name wasn't taken, I would have liked that name for Cleveland when they were considering a change. From its founding in 1796 to 1836 the name of the city was Cleaveland and this would have found a place for the missing "A". The name Indians didn't do much for me, I like that the Guardians is more representative of the city.

I didn’t mind the name Indians but Chief Wahoo creeped me out
