Those of us who don't want to mask kids in school based on a threat that is far less than the danger of death from flu, death from a motor vehicle accident on the way to school, etc. are all for any parent who wants to mask their kid. We just want the freedom of choice to decide for ourselves. Meanwhile, the data is clearly on our side. Having kids wear masks in school is like having all drivers wear helmets when they drive. You could probably make a theoretical point that it's technically a smidgen safer, but it's not enough to justify forcing people to do it.
