In 2012 Barak Obama threatened Syrian President, al-Assad, who was being backed by Russia, with a political BLUFF after it was reported that Assad had used chemical weapons on his own people. Assad called his bluff, leaving Barry with the option of carrying out his threat or backing down....in front of the whole world....to include our enemies. Barry, embarrassingly backed down. To make matters worse, Barry attempted to save face by publicly declaring the 'Red Line' debacle was not just HIS 'Red Line', it was the whole world's 'Red Line'. Other nations did not hesitate to hang Barry out to dry by reminding him THEY had not drawn his 'Red Line' or agreed to support it - it was all his. Barry's gambit failed, and he, his administration, and this country as a result were made to look weak. Barry, a Community organizer and 1/2 a term US Senator before becoming president, was not experienced enough to know and did not have good advisors to teach him that, with foreign policy, the stakes are critical - if you you promise something, especially military response, you better be ready to back it up. Obama wasn't.

During Obama's Presidency, Barry didn't talk tough when it came to Putin. This was declared a mistake, even by Democrats. Perhaps Biden wanted to show he was different from Barry in that he was not afraid to talk tough about Putin...which has led to his own 'Red Line'-lite mistake. Not as bad as Barry's, it was still a mistake...and he was goaded into it by the media, who asked Biden what he thought of Putin. Biden responded by publicly declaring, "He's a KILLER." While not wrong, Putin's response was a political mocking of Biden, who the world knows is suffering some sort of dementia.

Al-Assad's response to Barry was to launch another strike on his people, at which point Barry backed down. Putin's response to Biden was to challenge him to a live debate / discussion....one that the Biden administration will back down from. There is no way his handlers will allow Dementia Joe from a battle of wits / Intelligence / mental competence in front of the world.

Remember Biden angrily challenging the American at a news conference to an IQ test? yeah, Biden and his handlers want no part of Putin in that capacity. Biden will - and already has - backed down from this one. Joe and his team will attempt to laugh it off, but the foreign policy / 'image' damage has been done.

There was NEVER a Red Line. That was an open invitation. Biden, Obama, Clintons, are all owned by China, Iran, Syria and Russia.

This would be funny if the consequences weren't so terribly important for the US, both short and long term.

No it was Biden who made a PUBLIC blunder that has already blown up in his face.

Go buy a clue and maybe, just maybe you will understand what Biden did wrong.

Exactly. When asked the question about Putin, Biden wasn't prepared or politically savvy enough to answer in a way that wouldn't invite the disaster it did. And it is a disaster. Putin's challenge cannot be accepted, but needs to be dealt with one way or another.

What a mess.

I'm a 'killer'? He's a walking, talking 'vegetable'.

And yet another barely laundered Russian propaganda effort
Said by someone who was caught in a lie claiming to be a NYC attorney but was unable to confirm her credentials as a NYSC attorney meaning she is not a NYC attorney. Instead, she claims to be so she can lend credibility to her posts.
How insecure can one be about their opinion if they need to lie about their education?

At least choose a profession a little more believable.

A NYC attorney is automatically, once passing the Bar deemed a real estate broker. It is not only a benefit...real estate ethics is part of the material for the exam. So when she touted herself as a NYC attorney I asked her if she ever gets involved in real estate sales or leasing. Her respinse was " I am not a real estate broker". Yes, a set up question....but her answer spoke volumes about her credibility. She is a liar.
