This is true. After one leaves college one realizes that Ayn Rand's books are akin to large comic books. :)

Bill Maher blasts Ayn Rand and libertarians
libertarians they have a "creepy obsession" with author Ayn Rand? On Friday's edition of "New Rules," the provocative comedian said the "Atlas Shrugged" author's philosophies, espoused by modern politicians like Paul Ryan and Rand Paul, are the "stuff that sounds deep when you're 19 years old.

Actually, the only aspect of Rand's philosophy that is worthy of praise is its politics and economics. It is Maher who is the ninny on that score. Indeed, Marher it precisely one of those folks who seem to be kind of smart, but really aren't. Marher's arguments against theism, for example, are even worse—brain-dead stupid, childish prattle—than Rand's, and that's saying something! In any event, the bulk of Rand’s Objectivism is sophomoric drivel

I may not agree with Bill Maher sometimes, but he does make me laugh. Also, I never took a single class in college and still enjoyed reading Ayn Rand. People on both sides of the issue regarding Ayn Rand's philosophy seem overly emotional on the issue. Ayn Rand was emotional but she was an author. You kind of have to be in order to sell books.
