Cold russian winter started when french army was half way back from Russia and already being kicked in the ass on the way. And, you know, winter and frost hit russian army too... As for Hitler, what winter? I thought he had plans to bit USSR by the september of 1941... It is not cold at all at this time of the year in Russia.
