Please cite specific examples of these republican atrocities. History would suggest that first world nations were built by capitalism rather then socialism. Do you really think that Romney would have been no different from Obama?

There is no first world nation that is pure capitalist or socialist. It takes a mix of each in order to create a functioning nation. It is the amount of mix that should be the debate, not 'pure' of either. That history is very clear about. Only fucked up idiots prefer ideology to pragmatism.
