This is a message to the world "we control who is elected in this state".

There is no state even close to the voting gap that Harris enjoyed over Trump in California, even taking into consideration their larger population. D.C is exempt from such a comparison. Remove California and Texas from the popular vote numbers and Trump dwarfs Harris by 6 or 8 million I guess.

This is why the Dems focus on Cali (and New York). It is always why they fail. The Catholic video Harris made for the event she missed is a prime example. Probably produced by some California Hollywood director who thinks they are appealing to some Atheist, stoner living in moms basement in San Francisco. I find it ironic that the most progressive state in the Union, along with ongoing technological advancements, takes longer to count votes than developing countries like India, with 900M+ eligible voters, a ~65% electorate turnout, and a 1 - 2 day turnaround on tallying votes.

You're lucky. My horrible rep Barbara Lee is being replaced with an even worse racist, Lateefah Simon. Due to the open primary, we only had to Dems to choose from, so I wrote in nobody.

If the state collectively only counted 500,000 votes a day (40,000/hour), they would be done by now.
If they only had 500 people counting statewide and only counted 80/hour, they would meet that goal.
Many/most states count many times more than that and get it all done in a day, not 19 days.
But keep in mind that the state of California has the lowest collective IQ of all of the 50 states except for one: Louisiana.
California just barely beats Louisiana out on IQ.
