China possesses a vastly larger workforce than America can field. China is a modern technologically advanced super power in all rights. I believe China exports more goods than imports goods, correct me here If I am in error on this one. China definitely has its education & its military covered & up to speed from what I have read about those two subjects. From this perspective I'd say China is emerging to take the super power title #1. With our USA buried in hopeless debt not to mention straddled with a split constituency & battered from mega inflation I'd say China is currently leading our USA in just about all fields. America's best move is to take care of business @ home first like end the runaway debt spending & getting the unemployed employed. In short America has to get with the program or become China's puppet.

A space station has been done before, a robot on the Moon and Mars has been done before. The technology, the knowledge is all out there. They need to figure things out for themselves, but none of that was particularly difficult.
A station on the Moon is something else. Yes, in the 1960s and 70s the US put a man on the Moon, China can do that. However this is a leap further. They might just do it, however like I said, their economy is tanking, they have a huge military and policing budget, they have problems financing local government, a housing crisis and it might come to the point where the space race just isn't able to be funded.
