China stimulus pushes global shares to new peak, boosts commodities

“It’s hard to say what silver bullet can help resolve everything,” said Ken Wong, Asian equity portfolio specialist at Eastspring Investments Hong Kong Ltd. “While it’s good to have monetary easing measures that are accommodative, more needs to be done in order to help solidify fourth quarter growth.”

"Silver bullets" only work for The Lone Ranger and against Werewolves.

Up up and away…another crash is coming, but there is always a stock market crash coming.

What a wonder system for the .1%.

Indeed up and away. And yep, there will be a crash, but the higher it gets before then the better it is for folks like me.

And during that crash, my investment money will be able to buy more shares so when it comes back up, I will be even better off.

I am not the .1%, or even the top 5% but I am still benefiting from the system.

Well yes. Good point. I intend to go to cash very soon, to protect my nest egg. I’m not in the top 5% either.

However, many people who are of modest means will be greatly impacted by the looming crash. When the stock market crashes, many end up unemployed who likely had little to nothing invested in the stock market.

Long cotton in the meantime. Australian cotton just got decimated by frost.

I have at a minimum of 5 years before I would need to touch mine and could go as long as 10 without needing much out of it. So we will keep riding the waves up and down for at least 5 more years. After that we will play it by ear and if the market is on a high note we will move to less volatile investments.

Sad, but true.

Agreed. My timeline isn’t as long.

I can’t help but think of my neighbor of years ago. He was a big stock market investor and always spoke of investing. With the Great Recession it lost most of his wealth at 70 years of age. Pulled all his investments and went to cash AFTER the crash, and then refused to reinvest. His retirement wasn’t pleasant.

Does not sound like it would have been a good time.

Between pensions and SS we could live a fine life even without the investments. But we have higher dreams than that. Thus the investments.

So, the question still stands. Unless your claim is that we are importing the practice of garden cultivation.
You really have problems looking up anything unless it's spoon fed apparently.

Horticulture exports are often considered high-value exports, and can generate more consistent foreign exchange earnings than other commodities like coffee and cocoa

Yet you still cannot give a single fucking example.

Weird.

Since you have proven you have no idea, let me educate you.

Within the broad horticultural products group, fresh fruits were the largest contributor at $17.9 billion, growing at an annual rate of 9 percent over the period and accounting for 15 percent of total import growth. Key commodities in the fresh fruit group include avocados, berries, and citrus, which the United States imports mostly from Latin American countries such as Mexico, Chile, and Peru. Growth in demand for horticultural products, including fresh fruits, largely has been driven by consumer desire for year-round supply.

You were the one who asked....you started this campaign of ignorance. I'm not your personal resource.

Just trying to see if you had any clue at all about the things that you copy and paste.

You have proven you do not.

So why you asking me?
I posted charts, facts. Hard data sets COMPLETELY DESTROYING YOUR OPINION YOU POSTED.....but somehow I don't know what I'm talking about? :auiqs.jpg:

You posted a chart you had not clue what it even meant.

Being able to copy and paste things you have no clue about is not a sign of intelligence.

And your chart had not a damn thing to do with anything I posted in this thread.
