Apparently, you've not experienced a quality "dim sum" restaurant.

Though this thread was presented as a joke, its title certainly seems to promote the discussion of Chinese food.

Americanized Chinese food is certainly exquisite at a selected few gourmet Chinese restaurants in the US. The best I have dined at is Hsu's Gourmet Chinese Restaurant.

I have been a personal friend of the owners for over 20 years. I have been invited to dim sum dining with their family members on multiple occasions. A never ending parade of rolling carts loaded with a wide variety of appetizers, entrees and desserts offers patrons the choice of whatever items they want to try for the first time or receive more of what they've already had.

You haven't had REAL Chinese food until you've experienced steamed duck feet!
