The assumption was that the building for the presidential announcement was rented out to the Christie for President campaign, but a request under the OPRA (Open Public Records Act) shows otherwise. The "Office of the Governor" rented the building for Christie's announcement, which means that the taxpayers of NJ just paid for his announcement.
