No, Trump pushes unelectable candidates on the party and costs them the White House and CongressIts virtually impossible to throw rocks at one party without hitting politicians in the other party
It wasnt this bad when the WW2 generation was in charge
But instead of being raised under the demanding conditions of strict moral standards and hard work the Baby Boomers were spoiled rotten on Playboy Magazine and hard drugs
Oh well, we live and NEVER learn
Today’s Taz TDS spew ^ brought to you by Krispy Kreme.
I’ll send up a flare when you get a concession from me for your tedious TDS bullshit posting efforts.I accept your concession. Have a nice day.
And that bothers you notNo, Trump pushes unelectable candidates on the party and costs them the White House and Congress
I just find it curious that Republicans give away winable electionsAnd that bothers you not
Save the crocodile tears for someone who appreciates them
Happily curious in your caseI just find it curious that Republicans give away winable elections
As long as Trump is the standard bearer the Republican Party will continue to lose winnable races. Trump repeatedly endorses extremist candidates in swing seats who lose nine times out of ten. Republicans lost the governor's race and Senate race in Pennsylvania in 2022 because of Trump's endorsements. They lost both Senate seats in Georgia because of Trump. They lost a Senate seat and governor's race in Arizona because of Trump's endorsements and they are about to lose another Senate race in Arizona for the same reason.
Trump routinely endorses toxic candidates because he doesn't care if they win or not. He cares only about who is willing to kiss his ring and that's why he endorsed Mark Robinson. Robinson should have never been a nominee for any office anywhere, but thanks to Trump he's going to hand the Democrats the governorship in North Carolina for at least the next four years and may even drag down Trump with him in the state, costing Trump the presidential election, which would be quite poetic.
"This was predictable. Mark Robinson's tenure in public life has shown erratic, sometimes highly offensive statements over and over again and Donald Trump supported him and endorsed him. In fact, he called him better than Martin Luther King Jr. on steroids," Christie said.
The former governor added: "This is the problem for us Republicans. As long as Donald Trump is your recruiting agent for candidates in swing states, we're going to continue to get our rear ends handed to us and Mark Robinson is not going to win this race, can't win this race...the fact is this is going to be a tough race no matter what."
Robinson was elected Lt. Gov in 2020, so it seems safe to assume he had already been vetted. Finding these alleged bizarre comments from ten years ago on an obscure porn website seem quite convenient. It might have been his decision, and considering what I wrote in post #17 if the complaints about Robinson are true Trump should vet total strangers he endorses more carefully in the future

it seems safe to assume he had already been vetted.
If the reports are true Robinson was obviously not vetted good enoughFinding these alleged bizarre comments from ten years ago on an obscure porn website seem quite convenient.
Who was it that said "candidate quality matters"?Happily curious in your case
Not according to the previous governor, REPUBLICAN Pat McCrory.Robinson was elected Lt. Gov in 2020, so it seems safe to assume he had already been vetted. Finding these alleged bizarre comments from ten years ago on an obscure porn website seem quite convenient.
Not according to the previous governor, REPUBLICAN Pat McCrory.
Pat McCrory says Mark Robinson was always a "ticking time bomb"
