Mr. Caruso would have the first million seller record. I was once refered to as "A Shower Song" because the acustics in the bathroom tended to enhance the male voice and many guys would give a redition of (you guessed it). Of course Italians had an advantage. The meaning is basically: SEE YOU LATER. It would become one of VICTOR RECORD's biggest successes.

Particularly because of the title, DARKIES' TEMPTATION is rarely if ever heard today. Here is Sousa's band most likely recorded in 1898 not 1897.
