Let's say we make drugs, prostitution, and gambling legal in the USA. We tax it and we increase the sales tax to 25%. Then, we get rid of Jimmy Carter's Department of Education and anything even vaguely resembling socialized medicine. We also need to cease foreign humanitarian aid. We also need to cease any financial aid for Postsecondary education that is not STEM or trades/professions.
Would this be enough to eliminate payroll taxes? We also need to get rid of property taxes and street repair taxes.
