Going by when he was in office Obama out preformed Trump in deportations.
Making claims that he will do something in his second term which has not started yet is just speculation. Even if you want to believe campaign promises or not.

Almost all of that occurred at the border. Almost none of it was deportations from the interior. Those from the interior that were deported, almost all of them had been convicted of major crimes.

1. True, that as of now Trump was only in for 4-years, we'll see the deportation tallies after Trump-47 ends.

2. Trump and the Republicans should pass HR-2 ASAP to fix immigration laws.

3. Deportations accomplish a lot. For starters 12,000,000 or so illegals getting free food and housing and other services, raising costs for the rest of us.

4. Trump will finish the border wall and re-implement the "remain in Mexico" policy. The "got-aways" should be almost zero.

5. E-Verify needs bigger teeth so employers don't hire illegals.
