Seal with some teak oil and it's done...
Might crack/check...only been off the tree a month. Hopefully the teak oil will slow the drying...plus it is a small piece.

I have a piece of black walnut drying that will be a spatula... and one for a ladle...when I get around to it. You know how that goes.so I get this right you are saying you made a piece of wood????

Update...
That little crack did expand as it dried...but the important parts stayed together...
...and I did get around to darning all the holey socks...
I didn't say I did it well...but it'll get the job done.
