He was opposed to the idea of discriminating against the brothers, so of course he took legal means to avoid doing that. His mum was a Canadian chick, so he was able to move there.

Why do libs call Elon a "draft dodger"? Should he really have stayed in South Africa to actively discriminate against blacks in acts of bigotry?

Guys like Elon Musk and Nelson Mandela did what they could to eliminate prejudice.

Leaving the country to avoid military service is very big with Republicans. Trump's grandfather did the same thing.

Elon left the Union of South Africa because he disagreed with the official bigotry of that nation, and refused to sign up to enforce it.

Isn't that a point of positivity? If he had risen to the rank of Mercenary in the South African army like Colonel DeBeers did, you'd bitch about that too.

MUSK: No. I left at 17. Well, in part, in order to avoid conscription in the army.

WILSON: Oh, you left so you didn't have to deal with the army.

MUSK: You know, spending two years suppressing Black people doesn't seem to be a great use of time.

WILSON: I think that's the worst use of any human being's time. [...] Elon Musk, draft dodger!

The exchange takes place at the 1:34 mark:

Musk dodged the draft to avoid dealing with black protesters. The SA military was entirely manned by white South Africans for this purpose, which is why military conscription was needed at the time. He first immigrated to Canada to apply for an American visa. Eligible South Africans should follow suit.

You were waffling on about draft dodgers as if people should go like cattle, Ali said at the time those Vietnamese never called me a N... and have done nothing against me or my Country.
I was merely pointing out facts.

You voted stay, can't get any shittier than that.
