Fast-track trade power would allow the President to negotiate regulations of commerce with foreign nations in secret, while Congress’ only part before these regulations become law would be an up or down vote within 90 days upon receiving the presidents' concocted regulations.

Keep in mind that our Constitution places exclusive power to legislate regulations of commerce with foreign nations in Congress’ hands. Placing this power in Congress’ hands was intended by our Founders to insure that any regulations of commerce would be formulated, debated, and amended if needed by the various State’s Congressional Delegation sent to Washington to insure that each State’s interests would be represented in the making of such regulations. After any regulations of commerce were agreed upon by Congress, the president was left with a limited power to either approve or veto the regulations of commerce agreed to by Congress.

Fast Track Trade promotion authority is intentionally designed to reverse the president's and Congress' constitutionally assigned duties as they apply to regulating commerce with foreign nations. In this reversal, the president would usurp Congress’ assigned duty to represent their particular state interests when fashioning regulations of commerce while Congress would be left with the limited power to either approve or veto what the president has cooked up in secret with foreign nations.

And yet, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Paul Ryan, Jeb Bush and a number of other "conservatives" are on board with allowing the president to usurp Congress' exclusive legislative power to fashion regulations of commerce. Why? And why has there not been a massive outcry coming from our big media, and every “conservative” media personality, voicing an outrage over this irrefutable attempt to circumvent our Constitution’s separations of powers?

To date, there are but a handful of media personalities expressing an outrage over this attempt to eliminate Congress from its assigned duty to fashion, debate, amend and then send regulations of commerce to the president for his signature. Laura Ingraham seems to be the most out-spoken critic of TPA and defender of our Constitution at this point in time. But what is most surprising are those mentioned above who support this usurpation of power.

To support Fast Track Trade Promotion authority is to support a reversal of our President’s and Congress’ constitutionally assigned duties.

Republicans in Congress giving Obama enough rope......

Democrats had turned on Him until they realized that the ONLY reason to oppose Him on anything is RACISM and they couldn't stand to be caught at it.

A president can make any agreement they wish with any country they wish, but an official treaty needs to go through Senate.

[The President] shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur...

Now that Obama is on his way to creating a nuclear arms race in the ME, who can honestly still support him and his legacy?

We are not talking about a treaty in this thread. We are talking about regulations of commerce with foreign nations, a subject matter placed exclusively under Congress' powers. For example, the NAFTA was not a treaty, and its adoption was also a violation of our Constitution.

To support Jeb Bush is to support our Global Governance crowd and their WTO, NAFTA, GATT, and CAFTA, all used to circumvent America First trade policies, while fattening the fortunes of international corporate giants who have no allegiance to America or any nation.

Fast Track Trade Promotion Authority violates our Constitution's separation of powers

There is nothing in our Constitution granting the powers which the president would exercise under Fast Tract Trade Promotion authority.

Congress has exclusive power to regulate commerce with foreign nations.

All legislative powers are vested in a Congress of the United States.

Fast Track Trade Promotion Authority is an attempt to allow the President to usurp Congress’ exclusive legislative power over regulations of commerce with foreign nations.

In fact, Fast track Trade Promotion Authority, if allowed, would reverse the presidents and Congress' assigned duties and remove each state's congressional delegation from the legislative process which includes authoring legislation, debating it, and amending it as needed to meet each state's interests and the interests of the United States. In consideration of these facts, I confidently say FTTPA if adopted would be an act of tyranny!

What I cannot understand is why the following Republicans support such tyranny: Paul Ryan, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Jeb Bush, and Marco Rubio.

I also find it bewildering why FoxNews is not actively informing the people how FTTPA if adopted would fundamentally transform Congress’ legislative powers over foreign commerce and reduce its influence to approving or disapproving what the president cooks up in secret by a mere majority vote rather than the two thirds vote threshold under the presidents treaty making power.

FTTPA is intentionally designed to drastically remove the American people’s representation in the making of regulations of commerce with foreign nations.
