Arrested a sitting judge eh?
This is significant escalation, I think.
Of course, if the judge broke the law...she deserves to be arrested.
If~

The FBI on Friday arrested a Wisconsin county judge accused of helping a man avoid immigration enforcement, Director Kash Patel said.
Patel made the announcement in a post on X and said his office believes Judge Hannah Dugan "intentionally misdirected federal agents away from the subject to be arrested in her courthouse.”
Patel identified the subject as Eduardo Flores Ruiz and said Dugan’s actions allowed Ruiz to evade arrest.
The Justice Department didn't immediately have a comment Friday. A person answering the phone Friday at Dugan’s office said he could not comment. The Associated Press left an email and voicemail Friday morning seeking comment from Milwaukee County Courts Chief Judge Carl Ashley.

The arrest marks an escalation in the Trump administration’s fight with the judiciary over the White House's sweeping immigration enforcement policies. The Justice Department had previously signaled that it was going to crack down on local officials thwarting federal immigration efforts.

Patel made the announcement in an X post, which was quickly deleted. The FBI did not immediately respond to requests for comment on why the post was removed.

Patel wrote that the FBI believes Milwaukee Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan “intentionally misdirected federal agents away” from Eduardo Flores Ruiz as agents were attempting to arrest him at her courthouse last week.

“Thankfully our agents chased down the perp on foot and he’s been in custody since, but the Judge’s obstruction created increased danger to the public,” Patel said in the post.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported Tuesday that the FBI was looking into Dugan’s conduct surrounding an attempted arrest by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents at her courthouse on April 18.

So, the initial post....has been removed? Was she really arrested?

Breaking story...much to be learned still~

If the judge did as accused, then this is good and legal move.
Just remember, the most important aspect of it is the show of power against the court system by the extreme right.

I can say that and still be impartial. I'm a bit surprised over your position you're taking on this issue.

Feel good story of the day.

And it is entirely proper and way overdue.

Rein in the judiciary (and actors within the states) who interfere with the legitimate work of the federal government.

Let’s put it even more plainly: given the US Constitution and its Supremacy Clause, by what right would any state or local judge have any authority to interfere with federal immigration law enforcement?

Why? If the judge broke the law, so be it.

Patel is greatly flawed, and he will be caught doing the wrong thing.

You know this to be true.

The 1.5% of the unelected judiciary that has overtaken running the country are of the identical ilk as this judge and this incident IS The Stepping Stone to shutting down all this judge over President nonsense down.

Whether she broke the law or not will be determined at trial. She was arrested on suspicion of breaking the law, like all arrests.

Zero trials so far for these handful of judges thwarting POTUS. They hear one side and go with whatever is against Trump and citizens.

Of course you can. ALL arrests are done on suspicion, unless the arresting officer happens to personally witness the crime. Even then, the arrestee is still innocent until proven guilty.
If you merely have a feeling of suspicion with no supporting facts or witnessing then no arrest will occur. Supposition is not enough. Stop lying

I read that ICE has been arresting people without warrants. If that is the case no one is safe and the judge may have stood up for the rights of an accused man.
