Fire alarm going off without smoke

Hello, I just woke up to the sound of fire alarms going off. I checked the entire house, but there is no smoke. It is driving me nuts. If y'all have any solutions, please help as I am getting a headache.
Clean it. Dust/dirt can trigger false alarms.

A low battery will do that in mine.

Clean it and change the battery. I use a 3" paint brush.

There is a shelf life on smoke detectors, the sensing element deteriorates, usually about 10 years they need replacement. Check the date on the units. Blow out sensors with compressed (canned) air to clear accumulated dust.

This happened to ours before. They give off a different sequence of beeps like every 30 minutes or something. We changed battery but didn't help so looked it up and it said what you said about having to replace the entire unit.
