Besides the insane govt spending, greenie mania, add lockdown fever to fuel inflation in energy. LTL firms are hoovering up every driver they can find and training more at the same time and still cant keep up.
Lack of tanker truck drivers could lead to gas shortages this summer | KETK.com | FOX51.com

With gas prices already surging this year, another fuel problem may soon be on the horizon.

Some in the industry are now predicting a fuel shortage come summer. And it’s not due to a supply issue, but rather not enough tank truck drivers to move the fuel to gas stations.

Procter & Gamble, Kimberly-Clark and Coca-Cola have all warned that they'll raise prices on many of their products as raw material costs rise. Plastic, paper, sugar, grain and other commodities are all getting more expensive as demand outpaces supply. Companies are also paying more for shipping as fuel costs rise and ports experience longer delays because of congestion. More expensive prices for everyday items? | wbir.com

I wouldn't buy woke a cola on a bet. They can go broke as far as I'm concerned and fuck KC and P&G as well.

“There seems to be sort of a bullish force behind the prices internationally,” Abdolreza Abbassian, senior economist at the United Nations’ Food and Agriculture Organization, said in an interview. “The indications are that there is very little reason to believe prices would remain at these levels. It’s more likely they will rise further. Hardship is still ahead.”

When there is more of something than not, the somethings value decreases, in this case, the US "official" Fiat Currency- It's not rocket science- although, the pseudo- intellectuals like to pretend it's an esoteric endeavor-
Central planning and a central bank are subscribed to by BOTH sides of the Duopoly Party- it doesn't matter what political stripe one hides behind- cheap rhetoric is still cheap, and rhetorical-
