A fundraiser for the Texas teen accused of fatally stabbing Austin Metcalf and leaving him to die in his twin brother’s arms has raked in over $60,000 as of Sunday — as the teen maintains he acted in self-defense.
The GiveSendGo campaign was purportedly set up by the family of Karmelo Anthony, 17, who cops say confessed to the horrific stabbing at a track meet in Frisco, Texas, last Wednesday.
The page claimed that the “narrative being spread is false, unjust, and harmful.”
“As a family of faith, we are deeply grateful for all of your support during this trying period. Your prayers and assistance mean more to us now more than ever,” according to the fundraiser.
Many of the commenters claimed that Anthony had been bullied by Metcalf before the 17-year-old allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed Metcalf in the heart.
“Good luck young man. Bullying must stop!!” one person wrote, while another chimed in, “Let this be a message to all bullies. Don’t start no stuff, won’t be no stuff.”

Comment:
It will be hard to claim self-defense if the victim was unarmed.
It sounds like it was just a small dispute about a seat.
A seat is not worth killing for.

Surely, every Leftist Democrat will support this action for Low-life Karmelo Anthony and try to make him a live George Floyd.
Just another indication that Neo-Marxist Democrats condone assault and murder to achieve their goals.
This so called Democrat angel no doubt has a juvenile record and his lawyers are attempting to hide this from the public.

Why was Anthony sitting in an assigned seat section with a knife in his backpack? Do we have a raging teenager who decided that morning "I'm gonna kill somebody today"?

Beyond Race: How ‘Thug Life’ Culture Gets Good Kids Killed

7 Apr 2025 ~~ By Grant Stinchfield

This isn’t about black versus white—it’s about the dangerous glorification of violence, street credibility, that’s pulling too many young Black men into cycles of conflict, violence and crime. The left is shockingly to quick to defend the accused murderer, painting Karmelo Anthony as a victim too. Go Fund Me pages created in We ask the hard questions: How did we get here, and what can be done to change the narrative?

Commentary:
The thug is now positioned as a good boy in a suit while the dead kid, who was unarmed, and merely telling the thug that he was in the wrong tent (as if he didn't already know) is being positioned as a gun-toting aggressor. It all took place in 30 seconds where the thug dared the victim to touch him and then cried to the cops that he had warned the victim in advance before knifing him in the heart.
"The perp brought a knife to a track meet and provoked an act by sitting in another team's area. When told to leave he made a threat (touch me and see what happens). He was touched, grabbed his weapon and used it..."
Hmm...., Amazing, and no cities being burned down.
Another black man murdered a white woman by the name of Ashli Babbitt. He got away with murder and D.C businesses were NOT Burned to the ground by arsonists.

What good difference will any of that money make if a prison sentence is the final result? It might pay for the defense attorney, but it won't stop the closing of the prison cell door.

God bless you and the murder victim's family always!!!

Holly

Black on white crime is a major problem, but whites don’t know it and many will deny it.

This terrible murder reflects the bigger problem.

Why is it law abiding blacks don’t condemn the bad behavior within their race. They refuse to criticize these types of killings, as do many feeble minded whites.

Good column here
