Rep. Byron Donalds, one of only two Black Republicans in the House, says that he has been snubbed by the Congressional Black Caucasians(CBC).
Donalds' communications director Harrison Fields told Fox News that the Florida Republican has engaged with multiple members of the CBC, an influential and officially nonpartisan group, to tell them he’s interested in joining but still hasn’t gotten an invite. Other freshman lawmakers were inducted into the group six months ago.
"Since starting in Congress, our office and the Congressman have engaged with several CBC members expressing his interest in joining, but all we've got is the cold shoulder," Fields said. "The sad reality is although the Congressman and those in the CBC share the same race, the (R) behind his name disqualifies him from membership today."
...Former Rep. Mia Love, Utah, was the group’s last GOP member, who three years before she joined in 2015 said members of the group "sit there" and "ignite racism."
The shutout draws parallels to that faced by former Rep. Carlos Curbelo, R-Fla., who was denied admission to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, after a bitter back-and-forth and a final vote among members to keep him out.

The CBC proves this all the time. If you checked the background records of most of the current and esp. past CBC members/leaders, you would find pages upon pages of documentation of their support for communist fronts and causes including those from the Communist Party USA (CPUSA), the now shriveled Trotskyite “Socialist Workers Party”, the Trot/Stalinist “Workers World Party” (and its fronts IAC, ANSWER, leadership in United for Peace & Justice, and Maoists of the NION (Not In Our Name) and/or the Revolutionary Communist Party’s “Refuse/Resist Fascism fronts.
The greater majority of past and present CBC members could not get a real security clearance on their best day (foreign ties to Communist Cuba, Marxist Venezuela and Bolivia, supported the Marxist FLMN in El Salvador and the communist Sandinistas in Nicaragua, the SACP/ANC in So. Africa, the Marxist SWAPO in SW Africa, the reds in Mozambique, Angola and Guinea Bissau/Cape Verde, and some support/ed the PLO/Fatah, Hamas and Hezbollah as an arm of Iran and its terrorism movement.
