Immigrants come with the intention of working hard to provide for their families and ensure that their children will receive a good education. That was the basis this nation was founded on and it has worked very well.

Now suddenly coming here, working hard and obtaining an education is a bad thing according to conservatives?

Immigrants from overseas enjoy the idea of one day following the American dream as citizens of this country. They file their paperwork and wait years for the process under Federal Immigration laws to obtain their opportunity. One group of immigrants are granted favoritism over any other, where the rules of law no longer need apply. Democrats look to the power of gaining a voting block for political purposes and retaining power, over the need for respect and enforcement of the rule of Federal law.

Absolutely none of the illegal immigrants should be given privileges above any other immigrant that chooses to actually OBEY Federal Law - period. You don't make excuses for those who willfully ignore and break the law, you deport their ass back across the border without exception... it's called enforcement.

It's posts like this that tell me you aren't a person to be taken seriously.

The 17th took away state control of their federal representation from the people in direct contact with the constituant's and broadened it into a money and popularity contest that turned the power of your states congress to not that of controlling your states interests but the exact opposite. It made your senator now controlling your states local elected leaders and pandering for any vote they could get.

Nobody is against the 15th or 19th. What we are against is voter fraud. One man one vote. Period. And that vote must come from a legal person with identity.

The 16th isn't in danger either but we sure have ventured way the hell off course of the original intention.
