I seriously think we should get rid of the Daylight Savings Time crap. Productivity would be much better if we didn't have that DST. Besides, people would actually sleep better.

I really don't care which way we go, I just want to stay with whatever the choice is.

Today is the shortest day of the year.

It also means that we are near solar perihelion with the Sun slightly larger in the sky whipping around the Sun at our highest velocity slightly altering the local spacetime density aging slightly more slowly as the Sun flings us back out into space to eventually enjoy another summer in 6 months!

The winter solstice was a time of celebration in ancient cultures. They kept track of the source of life in the sky and the Sun was finally returning little by little every day. Maybe that's why organized religion combined the Suns return with the birth of Christ.
