I really pulled or stained my abs lifting weights .
Really hard burning feeling when I contract .
It’s the side muscle between my ribs
Very painful.

Any idea how long to heal

Sounds like you detached a ligament. If still hurting like hell tomorrow, you better go see a doctor.
I did not break a rib but it’s burning like hell

Is it LOCALLY TENDER-----ie if you stick your fingers into the site of the pain is the
area SORE? How are you doing-----down there-----GROIN WISE?
 
Hot bath. The Japanese solution. Or go with the Finns and take a hot sauna. Work it off -- gently -- not to an extreme, whatever it is, but keep it moving.

Could be a broken rib. That will heal, too. There's no way to cast it. You have to keep breathing.

6 - 8 weeks.
It’s on my ribs
The muscles between your ribs are called intercostals, not abs.

Sounds like you hit the weights too hard too fast. When you first begin weight training, you should start slow and gradually increase the intensity of your workouts, otherwise you might hurt yourself.

I used to be a professional personal trainer and nutritionist. My clients included a world record breaking powerlifter and a guy who went on to play in the NFL. Elite athletes.

I know what I'm talking about. You didn't crack your rib lifting weights unless you dropped them on your chest while bench pressing. It's likely a strain/tear.

Take it easy and put an ice bag or cold pack on it. And don't sleep on that side. After a few days, alternate between cold and warm to promote healing.

The pain is in my upper ab
Will I be ok by Monday
 
If I breath to hard then it really hurts
If I have to cough then it’s excruciating
