For those who don't know or remember, Tipper Gore led a campaign in the 80s advocating for parental advisory labels on albums. Her point wasn't a bad one, but she was instantly recognized as being a tight-lipped prude, Democrat or no. I was in high school at the time. Believe me, she was a living meme of the Church Lady before the Church Lady even was born.
