The mqgical healthcare system of the U.K....you just cant get to the hospital because they have no avalailable ambulances...

What makes this especially newsworthy is that it’s not that unusual. The wait time for an ambulance has been in the range of 45-60 minutes for the past year or more. That’s not for all calls but for so-called category 2 calls like the one from Ann Clark. Category 2 calls include emergencies like “stroke or chest pain.” And the situation got significantly worse in December when the average response time shot up to more than 90 minutes.

yes, there are some problems at the moment but at least when someone falls into the subway here you don't hear them screaming 'don't call for a ambulance' because they cannot afford the $2000 to get them to hospital.

Apparently, in England, they say, "call me an ambulance," it never shows up and they die........after they paid their entire life in taxes to pay for that ambulance...

Yes, The Government has been running it down because it's intentions after Brexit are to basically bring yours in! That is true. So basically the strikers are striking not just for themselves but for a working NHS.

In Britain, you'd be a lot better off just calling for a private ambulance or get a private sector doctor to treat you.

British subjects who give a shit about their health do like Mick Jagger did and come to America or other foreign countries if they are in need of Complicated Surgery. Mr. Jagger's bandmate also goes out of the UK for blood changing procedures in Le Pec Varp, Switzerland when he was in need to pass a blood test.

People who give a shit about their health usually don't bother with the UK "free" health system, which is apparently worth as much as they cost.

I suspect the conservatives are trying to crash the NHS just to create the political will to privatize it.

The NHS system is already a failure, it doesn't need "crashed" as British subjects who care about their health are already going to USA and Switzerland.

Notice how the tremendous voice of my generation, Ozzy Osbourne, isn't getting treated for his serious neurological problems in Britain by NHS?

Well that he lives in LA might have something to do with that.....

Call a taxi dispatcher & tell him that there's a $100.00 pound tip for the dispatcher & also the driver if the driver can pick up the patient & family member & deliver them to such & such hospital within the next three minutes. The taxi will be waiting on the porch before one can end the call. Those taxi drivers know every single short cut in their area of operation, like cutting across folks lawns, taking ally's @ speed & power drifting the corners. Like $$$$$ turns those normally mundane taxi drivers into Formula 1 & pro stock drivers EVERY TIME!!!
