Obama to start “speaking out” against Trump in 2016
- Rhttp://hotair.com/archives/2015/12/28/report-obama-to-start-speaking-out-against-trump-in-2016/eport:

Harry Reid stood on the floor of the U.S. Senate as Senate majority Leader, while he reportedly kept 100 pieces of legislation passed in the House from reaching that same Senate floor for discussion let alone a vote, and verbally attacked a U.S. citizen, admittedly later using false accusations and lies to do so. He justified doing so later by chuckling and saying, "It worked, didn't it?"
- This was clearly an abuse of power. An elected official, a leader / Senate Majority Leader attacking a U.S, citizen - admittedly slandering that individual and lying about them - while refusing to do the job he was elected to do...on the tax payer's dime. Reid should have been disciplined for doing so.... He wasn't. After all, he is a Democrat attacking a Republican candidate - still a US citizen, and when a Liberal does it it's all good.

Now President Obama, liberal leader of the Democratic party has announced that he will engage in the same exact abuse of power by using the top Federal Govt 'Bully Pulpit' to attack another U.S. citizen because this individual does not share his philosophy / agenda and who is running for the Presidency.

We can hardly get the President to say anything bad about Islamic Extremists, Iran, or ISIS, bt he is more than ready to attack a U.S. citizen for partisan gain while NOT being paid by taxpayers to use his office / power to attack a U.S. citizen.

Meh, that's what snot nosed spoiled brats do. Look on the bright side just about anyone he tries to help ends up losing.

If Trump interferes in ongoing negotiations, Obama's got a point. He's responsible for foreign affairs and has the right to defend his positions.

Trump is not 'interfering', he is criticizing. Is Obama's skin so thin that he has to abuse his power and 'illegally' use the 'Bully Pulpit' to attack a U.S. citizen that is criticizing him? That's funny...and sad.

Evidently Obama dies because he is President and abusing his power to attack a US citizen...

The president has freedom of speech to. He isn't doing anything but talking.
Obama is not 'talking'. He is attacking a US citizen, and using his position and power to do so!

As pointed out, instead of doing his job Harry Reid abused his power and position by partisanly attacking a US citizen in a successful attempt to effect a political election, later even admitting that he slandered and lied about Romney. His excuse / justification: 'It worked, didn't it?!'

Obama is abusing his power and position to partisanly attack a US citizen in an attempt to sway a political federal election. Sorry, but that goes beyond simply 'exercising one's freedom of speech'. That's an abuse of power.

but wait, one doesn't just get freedom of speech, there are limitations right? The whole can't yell bmb thingy?
Don't see how your citation applies to the situation. Is Trump out there planting bmbs?

In regards to your comments regarding Reid, you need to read your Constitution. He can say anything he wants in Congress, and no one can touch him. That's why he did it.

The article cited in the OP takes the tack that this good for Trump because of the attention it draws, but doesn't mention much of anything about illegal attacks.
