JFK was killed on November 22, 1963. Thanksgiving that year was 6 days later on the 28th. Does anyone remember what that Thanksgiving was like? I don't remember it at all.

We would have gone to the family Thanksgiving at my Uncle's house with the other families.

I have no memory of it.

It just seems bizarre, now that I think of it, for the American people to celebrate Thanksgiving 6 days after the President was assassinated.

Believe me. There was no celebration. America had just lost it's innocence.
