Just Found My Toys

I had forgotten all about these toys I bought for myself way back in November. They were in a bag tossed on a chair. After I did some laundry and need to hang a coat by the chair to let it air dry that's when I noticed the bag.

I had two toys in it:

1. A Rubik's Cube
2. A 500 word puzzle
That will be challenging a bit for me because I usually do the 100 word puzzles in 2-3 days. This one has a whole of pieces to it.

I seem to be getting into a lot of things late... lately.

I also had a bag of Pepperidge Farm Chocolate Chip & Pecan cookies in the pantry I had forgotten about. The sell by date on them is December 29, 2024. Which is today. The cookies are still fresh; still edible. They are not stale as they were in the pantry in a lock n lock da

what is that? At first I thought it was a knife but it looks like some sort of chopper. What do you actually do with it?

It's a mid-evil horsemans axe with an armor piercing spike.

You kill people in battle with it. Just like my flail.

That Rubik's Cube is the 50th year celebration. It was put in a special case. I just had to get it. Soon as I saw it on the store shelf... a whole collection of them; I was like I'm getting this. It's still in the case. No use in taking it out because the "50 years" logo on it is so nice.

You probably should clean your place more often.

In putting together this 500 piece puzzle I first put all the pieces into three different groups.

1. the four corners of the puzzle
2. all of the rest of the corner pieces
3. the middle puzzle pieces

First I work on the corners... next I will match the middle pieces of the puzzle up by colors/shades, and work it from there.

I never understood why people would spend hours turning that stupid thing when you can easily tear all the stickers off & put them back on in the proper order

What's not honest about tearing the stickers off & putting them back on? If I admit it...then I'm being honest

But the best is what I call Schrodingers cat. You tear all the stickers off & throw them away...then the rubics cube is solved and not solved at the same time

I didn't forget where I put it. I forgot all about it. After purchasing it mid November I had to turn my attention back the elementary school and continue being a machine going back and forth to work.

Therefore other things were on my mind. Nonetheless, I found them and I am enjoying them. I appreciate your concern hidden in the fog of all that sarcasm.
