Anthony has been charged with first-degree murder and will face trial as an adult. This is because Texas allows minors aged 16 or 17 to be tried as adults for certain crimes.

If convicted, Anthony could face life in prison with the possibility of parole after 40 years. However, he will not be eligible for the death penalty. His family have since raised over $525,000 on GiveSendGo, purchased a new Cadillac, and moved into a $900,000 home.
