You figure it out. trump promised to end the war within days. He figured he would just give Ukraine to his butt buddy Vlad. But that would be too blatant and politically damaging for the GOP.

He is playing a game now. He is still trying to figure out how to give Poootin what he wants without looking like Poootin's boy. That is the hard part. trump was on the phone for 2 hours with Poootin...and immediately after the call, his pal Vlad starting killing civilians.

Chamberlain was just stupid to believe Hitler could be dealt with. trump is intentionally looking stupid, giving Vlad more time to decimate Ukraine.

Still waiting for that promised Cease Fire. Nothing to do with trump? trump is refusing to place more sanctions on Russia. He has not assured more military aid to Ukraine. trump is Enabling Poootin. It is their plan. trump will take every chance he can get to help Poootin and blame Zelensky.

like what sanctions? Congress authorizes aid. the cease fire advantages Ukr. if you bothered to understand it would allow Ukr to regroup on the defenses. There is no reason for Putin to agree to it since Russia is making slow gains.

My preference is just stay out of it. Ukr is a money pit now, and any reconstruction will require boat loads of cash.
Plus whatever happens to the Russia/Ukr border is strategically unimportant to the USA. It simply doesnt matter,

Europe has been making more and more aggressive demands - but last time I looked they couldn't even agree on aid!
