Ukraine has been under general mobilization since Feb 24, 2022. It was reaffirmed by extension on May 1, 2023- Ukraine is still under general mobilization.

The order was from a local authority, to residents 18-59 of one district of Kiev, to confirm their military status and eligibility information. The purpose is to maintain mobilization readiness.

Ukraine's military commanders have been saying for more than 6 months- they don't lack people, they lack equipment.

They aren't conscripting new people right now, and they have a pool of over 500,000 they can enlist if they need to.
