Let's Do Away With Questionable College Loan Scam

Let's do away with the poorly designed questionable college loan programs. Why not provide college students with USA Government Funded grants and/or scholarships which cover 100% of college expense? For those who have not access to other financial support?

A grant is a gift that does not have to be repaid; it is based on the student's financial need. A scholarship is an achievement award which is usually based on academic grades, abilities, skills, test scores, class rank, etc.

Loans are funds borrowed by the student and/or parent which currently are creating a variety of mental and financial stress.

Definitely open the bankruptcy option to all which would unload the financial calamity currently associated with college loans.

I would like to see every American do 2 years of mandated public service, after which they can get a tuition to any reasonably priced university.
