For any of you not sure who I am referring to, she is Marianne Williamson, who ran to be the Democratic candidate for President in the November 2024 election.

She didn't get very far in her bid, but is now running to be Democratic National Committee chair person for the 2025 Nov election. I don't know if she has the organizational skills she says she has to run the organization. Anyway, after reading/hearing a lot of her words/insights in the past, she calls it as she sees it is, no mincing. Her comments below from an email she sent the day after Donald Trump's Inauguration Day speech deserve an airing.

"Given what happened yesterday — particularly executive orders that will cause pain and havoc in the lives of so many people and lead to increased destructiveness to the natural environment - there will be some very difficult days ahead. It’s painful to watch the torching of our national good by someone simultaneously exhorting us to greatness."

George Orwell wrote '1984' as a warning.

dimocrap scum use it as a "How To" manual

This might as well be the dimocrap scum Party Mantra. Because -- It is

“Now I will tell you the answer to my question. It is this. The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power, pure power. What pure power means you will understand presently. We are different from the oligarchies of the past in that we know what we are doing.
All the others, even those who resembled ourselves, were cowards and hypocrites. The German Nazis and the Russian Communists came very close to us in their methods, but they never had the courage to recognize their own motives. They pretended, perhaps they even believed, that they had seized power unwillingly and for a limited time, and that just around the corner there lay a paradise where human beings would be free and equal.
We are not like that. We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means; it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power. Now you begin to understand me.”

Perhaps she could become a bishop.

She is worried about maga destroying what? When democrats have burnt California to a crisp through bad policy and pure corruption.
