They have already arrested the Muslim Brotherhood Political Party leaders & the new govt of Egypt is barring Muslim Brotherhood figures from leaving Egypt. Looks like they are about to clean house. The right way this time. Good for them.

The highest judge in the land has been sworn in as President of Egypt and so far it sounds as if he has a good understanding of how to fix the problems of Egypt. Starting with the biggest problem of all. The Muslim Brotherhood.

Interesting to read the comments of the Egyptian people. They say they don't care who the leader is so long as he isn't part of the Muslim Brotherhood. Looks like the days of the Muslim Brotherhood are about to come to a close here.

It's another Iran in the making. They got smart to the US puppet system. It took us 8 years of molding their leaders & planning to get their MB leader to this point today. We have been molding their military for 35 years now.

The American government secretly backed leading figures behind the Egyptian uprising who have been planning “regime change” for the past three years, The Daily Telegraph has learned.

The American Embassy in Cairo helped a young dissident attend a US-sponsored summit for activists in New York, while working to keep his identity secret from Egyptian state police.

On his return to Cairo in December 2008, the activist told US diplomats that an alliance of opposition groups had drawn up a plan to overthrow President Hosni Mubarak and install a democratic government in 2011.

He has already been arrested by Egyptian security in connection with the demonstrations and his identity is being protected by The Daily Telegraph.

The "Secret Document" mentioned this "Revolutionary Activist" speaking at a late January Congressional hearing on House Resolution 1303 regarding religious and political freedom in Egypt.

This Resolution H. Res. 1303: Calling on the Egyptian Government to respect human rights and freedoms of religion was introduced Jun 24, 2008 by Rep. Frank Wolf [R-VA10].

It was also introduced in several previous secessions of congress. On Jul 28, 2005 it was introduced as H. Res. 413: Expressing the concern of House of Representatives regarding the amount of United States foreign assistance provided to Egypt over the past 25 years without meaningful political reforms by the Government of Egypt, by Rep. Ted Poe [R-TX2].

Pentagon Faces Test of Influence With Ally

The officer corps of Egypt’s powerful military has been educated at defense colleges in the United States for 30 years. The Egyptian armed forces have about 1,000 American M1A1 Abrams tanks, which the United States allows to be built on Egyptian soil. Egypt permits the American military to stage major operations from its bases, and has always guaranteed the Americans passage through the Suez Canal.

The relationship between the Egyptian and American militaries is, in fact, so close that it was no surprise on Friday to find two dozen senior Egyptian military officials at the Pentagon, halfway through an annual week of meetings, lunches and dinners with their American counterparts.

By the afternoon, the Egyptians had cut short the talks to return to Cairo, but not before a top Defense Department official, Alexander Vershbow, had urged them to exercise “restraint,” the Pentagon said.

He was determined to interfere and they told him to go to hell. The Pentagon is now releasing a bunch of lies and propaganda meant to prop Obama up as having backed the Egyptian Military.

He did not suport the Egyptian Military. His support was behind MB favorite Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood who the Egyptian President is currently having hunted down and arrested. There is an order barring them from fleeing the country right now. He refused to assist the Eygptian Military at every turn. They won't forget that either. It's going viral right now. Good luck with running interference for him on this one. It won't work.

If Obama is on the side of the Egyptian Military he can order HLS to start arresting Muslim Brotherhood here inside the USA starting with his own Muslim Brotherhood staff. That is what the new Egyptian president is doing right now. If he is on their side he better get busy!

The Muslim Brotherhood had a very different ideal about Democracy. It seems that plot was understood and now is being Stopped by those who don't want to live under a Tyranny of the MB.

Um, the Egyptians are the ones who voted the Muslim Brotherhood into power just last year. I mean, I'm glad they are cleaning up their mess and hope they come out better from it but the blame solely falls on the Egyptian people who voted for Morsi.

there were far too many anti-Hood candidates who split up the anti-Hood vote...so the MB won with a plurality...not by majority...

in any case Morsi did not live up to his promises...

Yes and perhaps it will catch on here at home as well. Maybe our own United States Military will tell the Pentagon to go to hell and oust the other president who is a Muslim Brotherhood favorite. Trends have a way of catching on. One can only hope.

Um, the Egyptians are the ones who voted the Muslim Brotherhood into power just last year. I mean, I'm glad they are cleaning up their mess and hope they come out better from it but the blame solely falls on the Egyptian people who voted for Morsi.

Doubtful the Egyptian citizens realized that Morsi had plans to shred their constitution and become a dictator anymore than the American citizens realized that Obama planned to shred our constitution and become a dictator. People don't generally vote for those type CHANGES with their eyes wide open. They were lied to just as the American people have been lied to. Doubt they will ever trust Obama again when it comes to listening to his "endorsements". Nor should they. Thanks to Edward Snowden it is obvious what is going on here.

Of course this is a lie and the world knows it.


He supported Morsi until the very end. Even against the will of the people in Egypt. USA will once again reap the consequences of Obama's wrong decisions.

Don't put too much faith in Mansour as president. The office he holds is the same as the office held by Chief Justice Roberts. He doesn't have a clue. He's just president until elections can be held. The military is really in charge. Egypt needs to whittle down their candidates to two or at most three. Otherwise they will again have a muslim brotherhood president. They are the largest organized group. As the largest organized group, they can keep the people fractured into more than a dozen small political platforms and dominate all elections.

If nothing else, it pretty much proves up the superiority of our two party system.
