Originally Comey accused the former secretary of state of being “grossly negligent” in handling classified information in a draft dated May 2, 2016, but that was modified to claim that Clinton had been “extremely careless” in a draft dated June 10, 2016.

Comey stuck to that modified language when he announced in July 2016 that there would be no charges against Clinton.

Federal law states that gross negligence in handling the nation’s intelligence can be punished criminally with prison time or fines, according to The Hill, which first reported on the memos.

“There is evidence to support a conclusion that Secretary Clinton, and others, used the email server in a manner that was grossly negligent with respect to the handling of classified information,” one of Comey’s earliest drafts states.

I wonder why the change?

did that change happen after the Clinton/lynch tarmac meeting? If so, there's your answer.

The next question is how much money was transferred from the Clinton foundation to Lynch's swiss bank account.

Bleech bitting hard drives, destroying phones, deleting thousands of emails but it was all in good fun. Nothing to see here. We all destroy evidence when we're innocent.

I’d be looking at Comey’s bank accounts. Or investigating him to see what they used for blackmail.

We already have a post on this. The nuts are yelling about the drafting process.

Please merge the threads.

Really?

'GROSS NEGLIGENCE' IN MISHANDLING CLASSIFIED INFORMATION IS A CRIME!

Comey himself exposed Hillary Clinton's crimes. Once he realized he had done it he scrambled to change his wording.

18 U.S. Code § 793
"...or information, relating to the national defense, (1) through gross negligence"

18 U.S.C. § 793(f), requires only “gross negligence,” not intent. Former federal prosecutor Andy McCarthy has gone so far as to say that replacing the words “gross negligence” with “intent” rewrites that statute to serve political ends.

- Why Intent, Not Gross Negligence, is the Standard in Clinton Case

This is just further evidence of the Obama administration / Comey protecting the proven criminal Hillary Clinton!
