I have multiple reasons to find this "intentional" behavior to be offensive, but let's just go with security/cybersecurity best practices:
'Mindblowing': Hegseth's phone number found all over web, posing massive security risk
Regardless of political views, basic cybersecurity and privacy hygiene should matter to everyone — especially public figures. Having your personal phone number available all over the internet isn’t just an inconvenience; it’s a massive, avoidable security risk.
It makes you — and by extension, your family and associates — more vulnerable to harassment, scams, and even real-world threats.
Whether it’s intentional or negligent, we should all expect better digital hygiene from anyone in the public eye, regardless of party or affiliation. Security isn’t political — it’s just common sense
So what say you?
