You know, we're doing something wrong and if we don't take the initiative to force change we will find ourselves in a hole too big to dig out of. when you look at the growing disatisfaction with government over the last few decades it is clear they no longer represent us, the people. It started out with disatisfaction with our presidents, it spread to congress and now even the supreme court is suspect.
Americans were clearly not happy with the Bush adminsitration. The Obama hype of Hope and Change wsa short lived and never really materialized. Its been more of the same old same old. And the numbers continue to show the disatisfaction. Because behind all the hype and bullshit, doctored numbers and the rest of the crap they hand us to try to placate us and ensure us they are doing a good job, they are failing us, the people. We continue to lose ground. Special interests continue to gain. Our rights continue to be stripped away.
What government is doing slowly and methodically is returning Americans to the old company store concept. With big government as the company. We become more and more dependedent on them for everything and as a result more indebted. Government gains more and more control of our lives. reclaims more and more of our rights. Its gotten to the point where we are even justifying it by using rights they took from us decades ago as justification for rights they are stripping us of today. the brain washing is taking hold. polarization is complete. They have created a situation where they can completely fail at their jobs, yet half of america will still suport them and swear they are miracle workers.
We need to change this dynamic and fast

More Dismal Poll Numbers for Obama and Congress.
Unemployment is down, hiring is on the rise, more Americans have health insurance than ever before, and the stock market is near all-time highs. But none of these factors seem to be affecting the mood of the American public, nearly two-thirds of whom believe the country is headed in the wrong direction according to a McClatchy-Marist poll released today.
The poll found that only 28 percent of Americans believe the country is on the right track, down from 32 percent when the same question was asked in April. The 64 percent who believe the country is on the wrong track was unchanged from the previous finding.
