Believe it or not the US is using its’ head. Who’d have thunk?

Poland is basically indefensible from a large-scale ground attack from east or west. That was proven in WW-2.

The Poles could not defend it against either the Germans or Soviets.

The Soviets could not hold it against the Germans headed east.

The same held true when the Germans tried holding ground there against the Soviets headed west.

They couldn't even defend themselves against the nonchalance of the UK and the US. Not that I am criticizing them for their weakness. But now, they are being just plain stupid and they are setting themselves up for another major disappointment. Going against Russia because of historical misdeeds of the USSR is going to bite Poland in the ass. They think of themselves as staunch Christians yet they cannot let go of the past nor “forgive those who’ve trespassed against them”. Their glory days were during Lech Walesa’s “Solidarity” but that's long gone now and they are betting on the wrong horse.
