You might say that Russia lost a ship and eliminated over 100,000 Ukrainians in return for each one.

Neither side is immune to losses but when losses become so disproportional, maybe it's time to throw in the towel?

It's sad to say but Russia isn't going to stop before rolling through and past Odessa.

There are minus 34 🇷🇺 🇸🇦 Maskal military personnel in Crimea, 11 of whom are officers: the results of the defeat of the communications center of the Russian Black Sea Fleet have become known RosSMI, citing sources in the Maskal Ministry of Defense, write that the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Sevastopol hit “a well-camouflaged command post, in which there were more than two dozen officers during the strike.”Also, as a result of falling debris from downed missiles, three Su-27 aircraft were damaged at the Belbek airfield!

Before: meadow, after: communications hub?

However, what advantages does this yield for Ukraine?

OSINT analysts reported attacks by Storm Shadow missiles on a large communications center of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.

But the satellite image shows that there is no damage visible on either Yamal or Azov. There is a trace presumed to be from a cruise missile hitting the pier itself. The missile may have missed its target or was intercepted directly above the ship.

And the military advantage? Wouldn´t it be smarter to go after some ammo depots or something?

Not much of a holiday resort for Maskal occupiers now. :auiqs.jpg:

The GUR said the ship had taken on water and rolled on to its starboard side, and was having to be continually pumped out to keep it afloat. There were rumours another landing ship, the Azov, and a patrol boat, the Ivan Khurs, were also damaged in the attack - but Kyiv said it was still clarifying information about further damage.Ukraine is keeping up the pressure on Crimea with boat, missile and drone strikes because they believe the peninsula is Putin’s weak spot and that fear of losing it may convince the despot to negotiate on their terms.#russia #ukraine #war

There is no certainty in media reports about how badly the enemy ships are damaged. Some of them report their sinking, some only report damage. The image clearly shows the Sevastopol Bay and both ships afloat. However, there are signs of damage next to both ships. One is on the pier, and the other is on the floating dock.

Dark spots are visible near both ships, which may well be oil leaks. In addition, several tugboats are visible next to the ship, which is located near the floating dock. According to the same Rogovey, they were in the parking lot at the time of the strike, because the Russians stopped all operations on the Black Sea after the sinking of the ship Sergei Kotov on March 8.
